Coating Kitchen
In the coating kitchen‚ pigment is combined with a media or binding agent (such as casein or starch) and applied to the paper. Each coating will have its own recipe and the process is controlled through automated controls. The coating kitchen is also responsible for the preparation of the starch solution.
CIRCOR pumps are used to support the transfer and manufacture of the binding agent. These typically are progressing cavity pumps and are chosen because of their sheer sensitivity and accuracy.
