Rotating Equipment Lubrication
If it rotates‚ then it needs lubrication. CIRCOR and the brands of Imo and Allweiler provide industry leading technology for rotating equipment such as compressors‚ turbines and diesel engines. Three screw pumps are ideal for pumping clean‚ lubricating fluids. Fluid film thickness and operating clearance in a three screw pump is typically smaller than that of a two screw design‚ giving higher efficiencies and higher pressure capabilities than a two screw pump providing viscosity is adequate and fluid is clean enough to avoid disruptions to the internal fluid film.
Frequently‚ the pump and motor unit is submerged in the lubrication oil tank. When process requirements allow this design‚ the life of the product is enhanced.
