Impregnation
Following the chipping and pre-steaming processes‚ black and white liquor are used within the Kraft style process to impregnate. The cooking liquors consist of a variety of substances including white liquor‚ water‚ steam and diluted black liquor. A good impregnation is important to get a homogenous cook and low rejects.
CIRCOR progressing cavity pumps are used to move the black and white liquor within this process.
